Activiti is a light-weight workflow and Business Process Management (BPM) engine that is embedded in the Openbravo ERP Platform.  Activiti BPM core is a very fast and robust BPMN 2 process engine for Java that is freely distributed under the Apache license.

This developer-oriented video shows a real world example of Activiti BPM being used inside of Openbravo.  The context is a specific ERP function (Dunning Payment Collections module) in which Activiti provides a flexible supporting workflow to the ERP functionality.  This is a typical use case for ERP that demonstrates the use of an embedded BPM engine.
